We Care NYC Vets, our mission is to empower and uplift homeless veterans by providing them with safe, dignified, and supportive transitional housing. We are committed to facilitating their journey towards self-sufficiency, health, and stable housing. Through comprehensive services including mental health support, employment assistance, educational opportunities, and personalized care, we strive to honor their service by ensuring every veteran has the foundation to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into the community with pride and independence.

I arrived at the [Stephaniec Homeless] Shelter knowing nothing about homelessness. I've learnt a lot--not everyone wants to live with no place to call home. I met other folks, each with their own story. The Shelter has assisted me in finding employment and a home to call HOME! The Shelter assisted me in finding my way back to life.
My name is Christopher, and I was a resident at the Stephaniec Homeless Shelter from mid-June to October 2, 2010. During my stay at the shelter, I was given assistance in finding work, a safe place to sleep at night, and three meals per day. The staff was fantastic. They assisted me in obtaining the meds and assistance I required for my different challenges.
I've lived in a few shelters on the Stephaniec Homeless, and this one is considerably superior in terms of cleanliness and the assistance needed to get back on one's feet. The genuineness in your and the staff's voices is palpable. God has a mysterious way of working, and I feel he intended for me to be here.
